“It’s always been — and always will be — about advancing the Kingdom of God.”

Our Story

McLauchlin Ministries is the Kingdom-building ministry of Rev. Tim and Sheridan McLauchlin and family, dedicated to preaching the Gospel, making disciples, and advancing the Kingdom of God. For more than 25 years, Tim has faithfully shared the message of Jesus Christ through preaching, street evangelism, and discipleship training. His calling was born out of a powerful personal transformation — after years of addiction, God radically delivered Tim and placed a deep passion in his heart to help others find freedom and hope through Christ. He holds a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies, is a certified facilitator trainer with Living Free Ministries and Mercy Street Ministries, and has been credentialed with the Assemblies of God since 2006. Tim has served as an associate pastor, lead pastor, and executive director of a large non-profit ministry that helped people overcome life-controlling issues. In 2007, under the guidance of their senior pastor, Tim and Sheridan founded Adult & Teen Challenge of the Upper Cumberland in Livingston, Tennessee. What began as a small 6-bed program grew into a 24-bed facility on a 49-acre campus — a thriving ministry that helped more than 650 men and women find hope, freedom, and new life in Jesus. Throughout this journey, Sheridan served as the Operations Director and their son, T, as Media Director. By God’s grace, the entire ministry was completely debt-free. In early 2021, through prayer and fasting, Tim and Sheridan sensed a new season was beginning. After much seeking and confirmation, God led them to serve in Perry, Georgia, where they pastored for three years. During that time, the church’s debt was cut in half, attendance tripled, and a Bible college was launched. Today, as God continues to open new doors, McLauchlin Ministries is stepping into its next phase — to preach the Gospel, make disciples, and equip the Body of Christ through teaching, evangelism, and the power of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 9:16 For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!
